  Does anyone remember letter from GB "end is imminent" around 2009?

  my sister remembers, hearing at her congregation, a strongly worded letter from "the society" that hinted that "we may not be getting any more letters from the society, as the end is coming soon.".

  she thinks it was around 2009, or after.. anyone remember this?.

  I just looked at the calendar and realized it’s the 16 year anniversary of my baptism into the cult. I was 13 years old…. Way too young. Can’t believe its been 16 years. I’m coming up on 2 years in September since I left. Time fly’s.

  i have only posted on here several times, but i am constantly reading what others post.

  i guess i am more of a reader than author.

  that being said i am happy to announce i am no longer one of the jehovah's witnesses.

  Last night I made my final rounds saying goodbye to my family.

  My father is 71 yrs old and literally hugged me as if this was the last time he would see me.

  I hate this religion more and more. Sickens me that they think this is LOVE.

  My eldest brother sated that he was "happy" this was happening to me, because it was an opportunity to set things right with Jehovah.

  I made similar comments like this when I was in. Don't you wish you could just slap some sense into them?

  Stay strong. I never got DF'd or DA'd. But I did tell my mom and sister that I no longer believe in any of the crap. The relationship with both changed immediately.
